Sustainability is now a priority for Bottero. Therefore, we adopt a series of processes to reduce the environmental impacts to the maximum. In addition to the correct classification of waste, we concentrate the focus on the reduction of waste and reuse of materials.

The combination of these actions results in the recycling of 60 tons of waste per month. This already represents quase 100% reuse, in a process that encompasses the entire manufacturing park – from the refectory to the manufacture of footwear. “Lixo” that is transformed into palm kernels, fertilizers and combustible tea.

Some partnerships are essential for the recycling of 60 tons of messages. One of them, with a company specialized in environmental management, results in the production of a sustainable palm kernel. What was previously "lixo" is transformed into a new material, which in turn returns to the manufacturing process in the form of a new and qualified component.
